Wednesday, December 14, 2011-Coral Springs Holiday Parade
(Seventh and eighth only-Information to be sent home)
Thursday, January 19, 2012-Concert for all Band Students at the
Coral Springs Center for the Performing Arts. 7:00 p.m.
This was discussed at open house in September. Ticket information will be available soon.
Saturday, February 18, 2012-Founder's Day Parade in Deerfield Beach
for all band students who qualify (including sixth graders).
8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Friday, March 30, 2012- Parade at Universal Orlando for all band students who qualify (including sixth graders). Sixth graders must participate in the Deerfield Beach parade in order to qualify. (Information to be sent home in January).
Friday, May 11, 2012- Perform the National Anthem for the Florida Marlins at the new stadium for all band students (including sixth graders) who learn to play the
Star Spangled Banner. Costs are greatly increased this year.
Students must maintain a 2.0 school grade average (not just band), and be in good standing as a band student in order to participate in these events.
